Camp Erin Denver 2026 will be held on
Friday, July 31 - Sunday, August 2
at  a site in southern Colorado

Camp Erin® Denver is a free weekend bereavement camp for youth who are grieving the death of a significant person in their lives.  Children and teens ages 6 to 17 attend a weekend camp experience that combines grief education and emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities.  Led by bereavement professionals and caring volunteers, campers are provided a safe environment to explore their grief, learn essential coping skills and make friends with peers who are also grieving.

We are so excited about this year's camp scheduled for the weekend of July 31 - August 2 at a site in Southern Colorado. Camp Erin
® gives grieving youth, ages 6 - 17, an opportunity to share the weekend with kindred spirits who know the reality of experiencing the death of someone important in their lives.  Camp Erin® Denver provides our campers with a combination of traditional fun camp activities like barbecues, camp fires and s'mores with grief related activities.  Imagine a phone booth in the woods where campers can "call" their person or sitting around a pool at dusk with lighted luminaries floating on it as each camper remembers their person.  This year we welcome back percussionist, Josh Robinson, who will teach our campers drumming and help each camper create a drum of their own.

Camp Erin® Denver was created and is supported in part by Eluna.
Eluna partners with bereavement programs in local communities to help fund, develop and grow Camp Erin® nationwide. For more information, please visit elunanetwork.org.

Eluna is a public 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to support children and families impacted by grief or addiction. Founded in 2000 by former MLB pitcher, Jamie Moyer and child advocate, Karen Phelps Moyer, Eluna was originally called The Moyer Foundation and launched a series of programs supporting thousands of children and families annually at no cost to them.  Camp Erin® is the largest national network of grief programs for bereaved children and teens.  Camp Mariposa® is a national addiction prevention and mentoring program for youth impacted by a family member's substance use disorder and The Eluna Resource Center offers online tools, local referrals and personalized phone and email support for families experiencing grief, addiction and other related issues.

Enroll a Camper (Ages 6-17)

First year campers are accepted on a first come basis following an interview with a member of the Camp Erin® clinical team.  Those interviews will be scheduled between mid-May and mid-July.  Returning campers will be waitlisted and placed on a first come basis once all first year campers have been placed.  The deadline for submitting a camper application is June 20, 2026..  We will be unable to accept camper applications beyond that date.  Space is limited and we encourage early application.
