Camper/Volunteer Registration 2025
We are so excited about this year's camp scheduled for the weekend of August 1 - 3 at Silver Cliff Ranch located near Buena Vista, Colorado. Camp Erin gives grieving youth, ages 6 - 17, an opportunity to share the weekend with kindred spirits who know the reality of experiencing the death of someone important in their lives. Camp Erin Denver provides our campers with a combination of traditional fun camp activities like barbecues, camp fires and s'mores with grief related activities. Imagine a phone booth in the woods where campers can "call" their person or sitting around a pool at dusk with lighted luminaries floating on it as each camper remembers their person. This year we welcome back percussionist, Josh Robinson, who will teach our campers drumming and help each camper create a drum of their own.
Become a camper: (ages 6 -17). Camp Erin is a FREE program for children and teens ages 6 - 17 who are grieving the death of someone close to them. Campers are accepted on a first come basis pending an interview with the camper and his adult caregiver(s). We will begin scheduling camper interviews later in the spring. You can apply for a child to attend Camp Erin Denver 2025 by clicking here.
Children who have had a previous Camp Erin experience will be waitlisted and placed on a first come basis once all first year campers have been placed. The deadline for submitting a camper application is June 28, 2025. We will be unable to accept camper applications beyond that date. Space is limited and we encourage early application.
Become a volunteer: As a Camp Erin volunteer, you will have one of the most rewarding experiences you can imagine as you have the opportunity to companion our campers through this very amazing weekend. If you have volunteered with Camp Erin Denver in the past, you will still need to complete a volunteer application each year. If you are new to volunteering at Camp Erin Denver, you will be contacted by a member of our team to schedule an interview with you prior to camp. We background check ALL volunteers each year and EVERY volunteer will participate in our required volunteer training. You can apply to be a camp volunteer by clicking here.
Parents and guardians often ask about volunteering when their child(ren) attend camp. For a variety of reasons, It is our policy that family members not volunteer at the same time that members of their family attend as campers. We would be happy to discuss this with you if you have questions.
