Next PAGE is a supportive overnight camping experience created for parents, guardians and adult caregivers who are integrally involved in the care and support of grieving children.
This carefully designed retreat blends the warmth of a traditional camp with meaningful grief education, reflection and connection.
Led by grief professionals and Shimmering Wings volunteers, Next PAGE offers a relaxed, safe and compassionate environment where caregivers can focus on their own healing - while gaining tools to better support the grieving children in their lives. This day and a half camping experience includes fun, interactive activities that are reminiscent of a traditional camp, combined with grief education and support to help meet some of the emotional needs of campers and their grieving children.
This day and a half experience includes lodging and meals. There is no cost; however, we do require a $50 deposit to hold your spot that is refundable to those who attend. Attendance is limited to twelve participants.
